Girl's recital

I managed to get a few good pics of the Lauren & Rebecca in their gymnastics recital. Becca's video is a little blurry, but you get to see her do her back handsprings!

Catch up on kids' news...

Katherine had her awards banquet and she was surprised by her section leader awarding her for "model student." This photo is actually when she went up to receive her (I think) Delta All-State Certificate.

As you know, Stephen's birthday was the 13th. He got a Hydro-car model that he put together and it actually worked. The kids had the wonderful idea of trying to figure out how to make OUR vans run on water...yeah, note the size of the water tanks in proportion to the car...not going to work, but a nice thought!

This turtle was found hiding in Katherine & Rebecca's room..."Not me" is the perpetrator who hid in him in there..wish I could track this fellow down, maybe we could claim him on our taxes!?!

And last but not least, Kimberly strikes....Nesquick on the kitchen floor, on her, well, all over her. When caught, her response was to quickly put the lid back on and ask for a towel...very calm, never denying her evil deeds, just, "well, okay, ya found me, now help me clean up this mess."

We finally got the dining room/kitchen wall up! So between mom taxi, mowing the lawn (which takes all day), award ceremonies, end of school year business, finals for the kids, recitals, cleaning, cooking and yelling at the kids...we are now working on finishing the wall so our house won't look so demolished!

Stephen will be 10 on the 13th...but Paul has to work, so we celebrated on Sunday!
